“There are many visitors to Tallinn, especially in the summer months. Every year there are 500 thousand tourist from the rest of the Soviet Union and about 50 thousand from abroad. Tallinn is a hospitable city. There is an old Estonian proverb, ‘The more paths lead up to your house the more friends you have’. The people greet their guests with the words, ‘Tere Tulemast!, ‘Welcome!’.”
