“In a small lawn surrounded by old trees in the Linda mägi park stands a small bronze statue of a women, with a boulder as a pedestal, by the well-known Estonian sculptor, August Weizenberg. The woman with her head hanging down in grief is Linda, the widow of Kalev, the Estonian folk hero. According to legends, she carried boulders to the grave of her husband in her apron.”
